Monterey Hostel offers clean, safe, and memorable overnight lodging where travelers can connect with one another, share resources to reduce their impact on the planet, and experience the natural beauty of the Central Coast. We are a nonprofit lodging provider committed to making Monterey Bay more accessible by offering communal and private lodging to school groups, families, and travelers. We are located 3 blocks from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, and the beach. Guests can enjoy free wifi and a communal kitchen (before 10pm), dining room, laptop counter, outdoor deck, and courtyard.

We are operated by HostelingOn, a 501(c)3 nonprofit on a mission to preserve and promote the hostel movement. Hostels help connect people of all ages and cultures so they can experience and learn about local communities through travel, shared adventures, and sustainable tourism.
